Tickets now on sale for Salford’s BBC Proms in the Park

TICKETS are now on sale for Salford’s BBC Proms in the Park spectacular, when the BBC Philharmonic and a clutch of other artists will bring the magic of the Last Night of the Proms to Buile Hill Park, on Saturday, September 12.

Tickets, £15, can be bought by calling 0844 815 6141 or at www.visitsalford.info.

Discounted tickets are available on a first come, first served basis and are only on offer until Sunday, July 26.

This musical extravaganza will be part of the BBC’s prestigious Last Night of the Proms TV coverage.

It’s one of five major outdoor shows across the UK to bring the magic of the Last Night of the Proms celebrations to tens of thousands of music lovers.

The audience in Salford is promised an unforgettable evening of popular tunes and rousing classics, led by conductor Stephen Bell and featuring special guests, ending with a fireworks display to light up the city’s skies.

Digital TV viewers at home will be able to watch Proms in the Park in Salford via the red button, and excerpts of Salford’s concert will be shown on BBC Two on the night.
