ANYONE with a fascination for bugs will enjoy a new and unique attraction which has opened at Liverpool’s Albert Dock.
The BugWorld Experience is the first insectarium of its kind in the UK and will show visitors the world through a bug’s eyes, testing their bravery, wit and skill with interactive challenges and games along the way.
Visitors can watch a short film, narrated by Coronation Street and Red Dwarf star, Craig Charles, introducing them to the world of bugs.
Tour guides will then be at the ready to escort people around the BugWorld Experience, guiding them through simulated environments from a rainforest to a savannah to the everyday British home, encouraging visitors to take part in interactive challenges such as ‘Bug Idol’ as well as getting up close and personal with some of the bugs like the giant hissing cockroach.
And those that like their day out with a sting in the tail can head to the BugWorld Experience Base Camp, to sample an insect or two at the end of the tour.
Adult tickets are priced at £10.95, children’s tickets are £6.25 with concessions also available. For more information log on to www.bugworldexperience.co.uk.
