Children's fun day at Ness Botanic Gardens

A CHILDREN’S fun day will be held at Ness Botanic Gardens with activities for all ages.

The annual event, held on Wednesday, July 29 and Thursday 30, from 10-4pm, will feature Mr Jellybean, Teddy Tumbles story time, a teddy bears’ picnic, face-painting, Junk Music, pony rides and a craft workshop.

Director Kevin Reid said: “The family fun days at Ness are a highlight of the events calendar, when the gardens play host to our youngest visitors with a full programme of games and activities for their enjoyment.

“This year, in celebration of the Year of the Environment, we are planning to highlight the importance of habitats and the environmental richness of the gardens within our activities. All are guaranteed a fun time.”

Tickets cost £5.75 for adults, concessions £5.25 and children ages from 5-16 £2.75, under fives go free.
