THERE will be a Little Less Conversation and a little more action at Crewe’s Liberal Club in Gatefield Sreet on Saturday when top Elvis Presley tribute Gordon Elvis hits the stage.
Gordon, who has been performing professionally for two and a half years in Malta, Cyprus and the UK, started singing when he was three.
Reliving the hip-swivelling 50’s, the movie years of the 60’s and all the way through to the Vegas years of the 70's, he promises an astounding show from a choice of 350-plus songs and 35 stage costumes.
He has even won the approval of award-winning Elvis tribute, the ‘Wonder of Crewe’, Paul Larcombe.
A show spokesman says: “Elvis for Gordon is someone very special. His resemblance to Elvis is remarkable and he does not wear any wigs but relies purely on natural presentation and charisma that Elvis was renowned for.
“He has been listening to his singing from a young age and he admires him so much.
Gordon’s first love is entertaining and he always reminds his audiences “there is only one Elvis and that he can never be replaced.”
Doors open at 8pm. Tickets are £6 on the door or £4 in advance from 07772 654396.
