THE great summer of stand-up in Crewe continues on Friday with four more top acts at M Comedy at the M Club in High Street.
Phoenix Nights favourite Justin Moorhouse tops the bill this month to continue a trend of quality acts which has already seen the likes of Reginald D Hunter and Jack Whitehall visit South Cheshire.
Moorhouse squeezes the gig into his busy schedule as an award-winning radio DJ on Key103 and promoting new film Looking For Eric in which he appears alongside Manchester United legend Eric Cantona.
Joining Moorhouse on the night is Nathan Caton, a rising star on the UK comedy circuit who has already had his own programme, The Nathan Caton Show, which aired in the UK last year.
Nathan started comedy just a few years ago at the age of 19 and picked up the Student Comedian of the Year award.
Completing the line-up is comedy veteran Silky with his part musical, part grumpy and part silly-style show, and original comic Roger Monkhouse, who employs a deadly combination of charm and menace to exert a masterful control over any audience.
Promoter Jon Mitchell said: “Roger's trademark stage-prowling style and curious, inimitable manner have established him as one of the hottest names on the comedy circuit and his inclusion on June's billing makes this a scorcher of a show that you simply don't want to miss.”
The show starts at 8.15pm and tickets are £9, £8 with student ID, to book phone 01270 216785.
