THE Travelling Band, winners of the Glastonbury New Talent Award last year, are playing at Telfords Warehouse in Chester tomorrow.
The Travelling Band are Adam Gorman (vocals, acoustic guitar, pump organ, accordion, banjo, harmonica, (percussion, keys), Jo Dudderidge (vocals, keys, acoustic guitar, synth, percussion), Steve ‘Snaf’ Ballinger (vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, percussion, harmonica), Steve Mullen (vocals, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, banjo, percussion), Chris Spencer (bass), Nick Vaal (drums, percussion).
The Manchester six-piece released their debut album Under The Pavement to critical acclaim.
Two singles from the album have already recieved good radio support while the forthcoming cover of Stone Roses’ Waterfall has already garnered great interest.The 11 tracks on Under The Pavement were recorded in New York by producers Eric ‘Roscoe’ Amble and Tim Hatfield, responsible for albums by the likes of Steve Earle, Ryan Adams and Regina Spektor.
