T-Rex tribute play acoustic set at Limelight

SELF-proclaimed ‘ultimate tribute band’ T-Rextasy will be playing a rare acoustic set at the Limelight club, Hightown, Crewe, on Saturday.

They will be performing all Marc Bolan and T-Rex’s iconic hits, including Hot Love, Get It On and 20th Century Boy from 8pm.

The outfit was formed in 1992 and their first show was a sell-out gig in a small club in East London in front of former T-Rex drummer Bill Legend.

They have built up a sterling reputation after supporting acts such as Roy Wood, Slade and Status Quo on tour.
