Stoke’s Top Talent (Victoria Hall, Hanley, June 13-21)

AFTER its huge success last year, the Stoke’s Top Talent competition returns to unearth more of the area’s best performers on Saturday.

The local spin on the national phenomenon Britain’s Got Talent will give the biggest and best variety the area can offer an opportunity to shine in front of a live audience.

Last year’s winner, Daniel Hewitt, went on to star alongside Jonathan Wilkes and Claire Sweeney in the Regent Theatre’s record-breaking panto Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

A theatre spokesman said: “Whatever your talent, this is your chance to claim your moment in the spotlight.”

But, if you are not up for competing you can sit back and enjoy the auditions on stage.

To qualify to enter you must live within a one-hour drive of the theatre, have an act that can be performed in about five minutes, be non-professional and, most important of all, be talented.
