TALENT TV winner Susan McFadden stars in the touring production of Seven Brides For Seven Brothers at the Regent Theatre, Hanley, next week.
McFadden, sister of Westlife’s Brian McFadden, was victorious in ITV’s Grease Is The Word in 2007 and won the starring role of Sandy in the West End production of Grease.
Playing Milly at the Regent, she stars alongside Steven Houghton from London’s Burning as Adam in the colourful romp set in Oregon in 1850, where Adam devises a plan to get himself and his brothers hitched by kidnapping the women they intend to marry.
The production is based on the 1954 Hollywood musical, voted the third most popular musical of all time by Radio 2 listeners.
Theatre spokesman Dave Bradbury said: “With colourful costumes, fabulous sets and sassy performances this breathtaking production is guaranteed to put a spring in your step and a tune on your lips.”
The show runs from Monday until Saturday, May 16, starting at 8pm with 2.30pm matinee on the Wednesday and Saturday. Tickets are £10-£32.50. Phone the box office on 0870 060 6649 or visit www. ambassadortickets.com/ Regent-Theatre.
