Spandau Ballet set sail for Echo Arena Liverpool

REFORMED new romantic legends Spandau Ballet will be at the Echo Arena Liverpool later this year.

Playing together for the first time in 20 years, all five original members of the 1980s band will visit Liverpool as part of a world tour on Thursday, October 29.

Tony Hadley, John Keeble, Gary Kemp, Martin Kemp and Steve Norman turned back time when they announced their comeback on board HMS Belfast, the scene of a legendary and notorious Spandau gig in 1980, from which they first set off on their global adventures.

The band blew the electrics on the historic naval vessel and thousands turned up for the show, some even rowing to try and board the ship.

The band went on to help set the pace, the styles and the sound of the 1980s and became one of the most successful and influential British bands of all time.Now, with 25 million record sales, six multi-platinum albums and 23 hit singles to choose from, this is one of the most eagerly awaited reunion tours for years.
