Elizabeth Sladen to host science fiction concert at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall

FANS of Doctor Who and its spin-off, The Sarah Jane Adventures, will be sent on a mind-blowing journey from Liverpool through time this weekend.

Elisabeth Sladen, aka Sarah Jane, will present Music from Outer Space with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra at 6pm on Saturday, April 18.

She will be joined on stage by her husband Brian Miller, the voice of the Daleks from the BBC hit series Doctor Who.

Sladen’s association with the world of Doctor Who dates back to the 1970s when she first appeared with Jon Pertwee.

The spectacular programme in Liverpool, which is aimed at a family audience, includes space-inspired music from Star Wars, Star Trek, The Empire Strikes Back, Thunderbirds, ET, Superman and Doctor Who.

Dress-code for the concert is strictly sci-fi with a family ticket to Spaceport plus other exciting goodies up for grabs for for the best costumes.
