Hit musical Never Forget comes to Manchester Opera House

Danny Brocklehurst’s Never Forget featuring the music of pop sensations Take That has returned to the North West.

The hit musical is at the Manchester Opera House for a limited season after its West End success.

Joining the new cast will be Phillip Olivier (Brookside and Hollyoaks In The City) and Shaun Williamson (Eastenders, Extras, Monty, Saturday Night Fever national tour).

The production, which features the incredible catalogue of music by Take That, is a feel-good comedy about love, friendship, ambition and betrayal.

With an original story written by Manchester-born Danny Brocklehurst (Shameless, Clocking Off and Sorted), Never Forget is the story of the members of the unlikeliest Take That tribute band and follows the rollercoaster journey of young hero Ash and his best mates in the pursuit of their dreams.

Along the way each of them discovers that pretending to be someone else can sometimes help you find out who you really are. Packed with everyone’s favourite hits, the show includes the number one smashes Relight My Fire, Pray, Back For Good, Babe and of course, Never Forget.

Tristan Baker, producer, said, “We are the biggest fans of Take That’s music and we are so excited about the wonderful opportunity to return to Manchester and the audiences that gave us such a great reception.

“We look forward to creating a legacy with these well-loved songs in the way that shows such as Mamma Mia has done before.”

It runs until Saturday, April 18.

Tickets, priced £10-£32.50, are available from Ticketmaster 0844 847 2484 (subject to booking/transaction fee) orwww.palaceandoperahouse.org.uk.
