Basil Brush sweeps into the Potteries

BASIL Brush continues his return to children’s television stardom next week with a new family stage show High Skool Mania at the Victoria Hall in Hanley.
The 46-year-old fox is joined by a wacky school gang including Crazy Carl Johns, Double Trouble, Bonnie and Madcap ‘Balloon-atic’ Bob Wooding.
Theatre spokesman Dave Bradbury says: “Will Basil pass his ballet exam? Will there be kissing at the end of term disco? And who will end up in the naughty corner?”
There are two shows at 2pm and 5pm on Sunday, April 19. Tickets are £12, phone 0870 060 6649.
