Vale Royal String Orchestra gives charity performance

MUSIC lovers are in for a treat on Sunday as the Vale Royal String Orchestra give a charity performance at Middlewich Civic Hall.

Talented flautist Stephanie Tepper, a student at the Royal Northern College of Music, will be joining the orchestra to play Bach's Second Suite for Orchestra, with Serenades by Suk and Berkeley and a Concerto Grosso by Stanley completing the programme. Richard Howarth conducts the orchestra.

Proceeds will be donated to countryside charity Campaign to Protect Rural England.

The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets priced £10 adults, £3 under- 18s and students, are available on the door, or by phoning Debbie Janney on 01606 835046.
