THIS month heralds the return of comedy to Crewe in the first M Comedy show on Friday, March 27.
The brains behind the Limelight Comedy Club, Jon Mitchell and Mike Ramm, have resurrected the evenings and brought them to the M Club on High Street.
A new format will see four top-quality acts, each as good as each other, visit the town for a longer, funnier show.
The opening night welcomes winner of ITV’s stand-up competition Take The Mic, Patrick Monahan, who is now a regular warm-up for Jonathon Ross’s BBC show.
Joining him is comedy revelation Henry Paker, whose book Don’t Arm- Wrestle A Pirate – 101 Bad Ideas was a top pick in Richard & Judy’s Book Club.
Geordie Jason Cook is the next act on the bill, following a hugely successful world tour last year, and American Reginald D Hunter brings proceedings to a close.
Promoter Jon Mitchell said: “We want to bring the very best stand-up to the area, in an environment that is comfortable and for the best ticket price we can.
“We’ve already started looking ahead to the end of the year and people will see real value for money from some of the acts we’ll be bringing.”
Tickets are £9. To book and for more information, visit www. mcomedy.co.uk
