Stars show off X-Factor

YOU’VE seen them on television, now is the opportunity to see them in person at the X-Factor Live 2009 tour at Manchester’s MEN Arena next week.

Star of the show will be Alexandra Burke, last year’s winner who scored an inevitable Christmas number one with her cover version of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah.

Joining her will be Northern girls Laura White from Bolton, and Accrington’s Diana Vickers, with Rachel, Daniel, Eoghan, Ruth and JLS completing the line-up.

All the stars will be singing their number one chart single Hero, recorded to raise vital funds for the Help for Heroes charity.

The X-Factor is now in its fifth year and was watched by an average of 11 million viewers last year.

The 2008 live tour sold in excess of 200,000 tickets. This year’s fully-seated show will again be hosted by Jeff Brazier.

A third show has been added to the MEN Arena visit due to the high demand.

X-Factor Live 2009 comes to the MEN Arena on Friday, February 27, at 7.30pm and Saturday, February 28, at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
