CELEBRITY judges will be on hand to see the creme de la creme of Halton talent light up the Brindley stage for charity.
Waterloo Road star and former Casualty actor Luke Bailey will be joined by Gary Barlow’s mother Margerie on the judging panel for the final of the Grand Halton Talent Trail.
The competition has been running since October and has seen some of the borough’s best acts fighting it out to make it to the grand finale.
Now only the stage awaits, with a first prize of £1,000 and a contract with a professional agent up for grabs.
Money raised by the competition will go to Halton Haven Hospice.
Avril Williams, the competition’s assistant director, said: “The final will feature great acts from all over Halton including singers, dancers, a drummer, a comedian and a crooner! ”
The final also marks the swansong for veteran fundraiser Sue Nield.
Sue has been raising cash for the hospice for 25 years and is due to retire after the curtain falls on the Brindley showpiece.
Avril said: “We’ve already sold half the tickets but we want to fill the place up.”
The event takes place on Sunday, February 15, and starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £7.50 and can be booked at www.thebrindley.org.uk or by calling 0151 907 8360.
