LED Zeppelin fans are guaranteed value for money when top tribute act Letz Zep make their long-waited return to Crewe’s Limelight club in Hightown on Saturday.
Animated frontman Billy Kulke has an amazing 35 years of experience on the stage and has toured with the likes of Ozzy Osbourne and Roger Daltrey.
Having teamed up with friends to recreate music from Led Zeppelin, his career took an upward turn with perhaps the greatest endorsement he could have had when Robert Plant walked through the doors of the Dublin Castle in London.
In an interview with Q magazine, legend Plant said of Kulke: “I walked in and saw what seemed to be me. Somebody told me about this band and I knew how ridiculous I looked then – I mean, I look ridiculous now – but I always wanted to see how other people saw me.”
Over time the band has become critically acclaimed leading tribute to Led Zeppelin.
They have featured on BBC1, BBC 2 and ITV1, and were reviewed in the Sunday Times by Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson.
The band start their gig at 9.30pm. Tickets are £10, phone the Limelight on 01270 251929 to book.
