Four-band line-up for Saturday night at The Box in Crewe

A FOUR-band line-up of indie, punk and hardcore comes to The Box in Crewe on Saturday, January 24.

Pop punk five-piece The Story So Far from Cardiff survived some drastic member changes over the years to emerge as one of the most dominant new forces in the South Wales music scene.

Following the release of their debut four-track EP entitled Blackmail And Little White Lies, the band has racked up more than 240,000 plays on their myspace page.

They have since released their first official single, Friends Like These, followed by a self titled mini album.

They list their influences as including The Beatles, Queen, The Police, and The Beach Boys.

The band includes vocalist Nathan Hurley, Jon Maguire on guitar, Marc Dowding on guitar and keys, Owen Shepperd on drums and vocals and bass player Matthew Birch.

Crewe-based indie outfit Friend Called Fred include front man Alex Holsgrove, Eddy Collier on rhythm guitar, Jim Richards on bass and Kirk Taylor on drums.

The band play an original cocktail of ska, indie and punk, with anthems including A Riot Of Our Own and The Takeover.

The Shylos are a three piece from Market Drayton and have just been signed to Lemonlyte Records.

They have new EP in the making and are to announce a new tour in the near future.

Crewe-based metallists Title Of Injustice have been together since early 2008 and are currently busy in the studio recording new material.

Doors are open from 8pm. Entry is £5.
