SOULFUL pop act Simply Red will be holding back the years when they perform a celebration of their greatest hits at the MEN Arena.
Denton-born Mick Hucknall and the rest of the band will be returning to their Manchester roots for the gig on April 5.
There they will be performing songs from a repertoire built up over the last quarter of a century to coincide with their new album, Greatest Hits 25.
A tour spokesman, said: “Simply Red have enjoyed a string of memorable hits including Money’s Too Tight (To Mention), Holding Back the Years and The Right Thing.
“Formed in June 1984, the soul-based pop group last performed at the MEN Arena in October 2005.”
