THE Box in Crewe gets all hardcore on Saturday night as the live venue launches its first metal night.
Metal Box kicks off with a four-band line-up featuring Asleep in Panama, Alium, New Beginning and Dyinise.
Headliners Asleep in Panama are a five piece located in Holmes Chapel who have been together since late 2006.
First support comes from Chester-based punk metalists Alium, who have also been together for about three years.
Further support comes from New Beginning, who came together in October 2004 through a shared love of AC/DC and Black Sabbath.
North West-based thrash metal band Dyinise are inspired by the Western American thrash movement of the early 80s featuring the likes of Metallica, Megadeth, Testament and Slayer.
