Ready to rock

HEAVY metal pioneers AC/DC have announced dates for the UK leg of their worldwide tour.

The Australian rock outfit have lined up a gig in April at the Manchester MEN Arena as part of their widely-anticipated

Black Ice tour.

The 15-track Black Ice is the band’s 16th studio album and their first release in eight years.

AC/DC have achieved legendary status having sold 69 million albums since their formation in 1973.

They have chalked up more album sales than Madonna, Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson and have even had a major Melbourne thoroughfare renamed AC/DC Lane in their honour.

They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in March, 2003.

The band’s only North West gig takes place at the MEN on Tuesday, April 21. Only two tickets are available per person and cost £40 plus a booking fee.

They can be booked on 0871 2200 260 or 0871 230 6230 or at www.gigsandtours.com
