CREWE’S Limelight club turns its attention to 90s pop anthems on Friday with tribute act Re Take That.
The fab four pride themselves on sounding just like the real thing and their dynamic dance routines, performing favourites such as Could It Be Magic, Relight My Fire and Never Forget. Admission is £10.
Saturday welcomes the UK’s premier Motorhead tribute band Motorheadache. They are in their sixth year and take the opportunity to pay homage to Lemmy by belting out tracks such as Ace Of Spades. Admission is £8.
Promising to be even better than the real thing on Sunday are U2 tribute act U-ZU. They have mastered a complete repertoire of songs from Bono and the boys and will play early material such as I Will Follow right up to City Of Blinding Lights. Admission is £8.

WREXHAM four-piece Tobacco Road will light up the Railway Hotel in Nantwich on Friday. The outfit return for their first gig of the new year with a set of rock ’n’ roll tracks influenced by The Beatles, Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler, among others.
Rockers AWOL turn up again at the Railway on Saturday. They take tracks from the 60s and 70s and convert them to suit their style with a rocky edge.
Sunday’s “chilled gig” comes from rock covers band Lost City Sinners, starting from 5pm. Friday and Saturday gigs start at 9.30pm and it is free entry to all three. For more information, phone 01270 623482.
NEW boys Wayne and the Hairy Peaches make their debut at The Jolly Tar in Wardle tomorrow (Thursday). The outfit cover all types of genres from the 60s up to present-day classics.
Bluesy-rock makes its return on Friday with another set from The Lester Hunt Band, while Saturday brings some extra noise with Disturbin’ The Peace offering a show of instantly recognisable anthems, including Motorhead’s Ace Of Spades and AC/DC’s Highway To Hell.
