THE Gingerbread Man will be making an appearance at this year’s Frodsham Panto Group production of Hansel and Gretel.
Director Susan Oldfield, musical director Sheila Fletcher and choreographer Jenny Howard will be presenting Norman Robbins’ version of the story, with the permission of its publisher, Samuel French of London.
The show starts in the idyllic village of Pumpernickel on the edge of the forest, where the wicked witch Attrocia lives.
One day, Hansel and Gretel wander too far into the forest and find themselves enticed into the witch’s gingerbread house.
A spokeswoman for the panto group said: “Why not brighten up a cold January night by coming to see our production? ”
The show takes place at Frodsham Community Centre from Sunday, January 4, to Saturday, January 10.
