Eagles will fly high at Arena

LEGENDARY American supergroup The Eagles return to the MEN Arena in Manchester on Saturday, July 11 to perform songs from their latest number one album Long Road Out Of Eden.

Tickets, priced £50-£100, go on sale this Friday, December 12 at 9am.

The band – Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmit – will be performing classic hits Hotel California, Desperado, Take It To The Limit, Life In The Fast Lane and Take It Easy alongside new material How Long and Busy Being Fabulous.

Long Road Out of Eden became the band’s first album to reach number one in the UK charts while in their native USA the album went seven times platinum making it the biggest selling album by a group in 2007.

How Long, the first single taken from the album, was nominated for a Grammy Award making it the band’s 35th Grammy nomination.

The Eagles have sold more than 120 million albums worldwide, earning five US number one singles and four Grammy Awards.

Exceeding sales of 29 million, their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is the best selling album of all time. The band’s Hotel California and Greatest Hits Volume 2 have sold more than 16 and 11 million albums respectively.

They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
