FORMER Marillion frontman Fish is coming to The Brindley in Runcorn for one night only to promote his new single – named after a page 3 girl.
Zoe 25, his second single from the album 13th Star – was inspired by Page 3 girl Zoe McConnell and will form part of the set he will perform at The Brindley on Tuesday (November 11).
Since leaving Marillion in 1988, the former petrol pump attendant – whose real name is Derek William Dick – has embarked on a successful solo career and released nine studio albums.
This year he was awarded silver in the Music Broadcaster of the Year category of the Sony Radio Awards and a gold World Medal in the Regularly Scheduled Music Program category of the New York Festival International Radio Broadcasting Awards for his Fish on Fridays show on Planet Rock.
He has also made a name as an actor with several TV roles.
