Snow Patrol to play Echo Arena in March

SNOW Patrol have announced a nationwide concert tour to take place through February and March 2009, appearing at the Echo Arena Liverpool on March 6.

The tour announcement comes as the band release their brand new album A Hundred Million Suns which went straight into the album chart at number 2.

Having recently undertaken an incredible whistle-stop tour of four cities (Dublin, Belfast, Edinburgh and London) in two days to launch the new album, Snow Patrol have sealed their reputation as one of the finest live bands in the country.Š

Snow Patrol are now one of the biggest selling UK bands this decade and A Hundred Million Suns follows up the 2006 Number One, seven times platinum phenomenon Eyes Open which sold an incredible 2.1 million copies in the UK and over one million in the USA.
