Swedish Virtues set to turn up the power-pop

FOLLOWING on from a gig in Chester last January, Swedish power-pop band The Virtues return to the area for two gigs this weekend.
The Stockholm quartet, who comprise Per Bergkvist (vocals and guitar), Per Westling (guitar and vocals), Fredrik Jonsson (bass and vocals) and Jesper Andersson (drums and vocals), will be featuring songs from the current Where Were You? release, as well as new material from a forthcoming CD.
Catch the band and their glorious guitar hooks and vocal harmonies at The Potters Wheel, Buckley on Friday, October 24, and at The Bromfield Arms, Hoole, Chester, on Saturday, October 25 – on stage approximately 8.30pm.
