Metallica announce MEN Arena show in February

AMERICAN heavy metal band Metallica return to the MEN Arena on Thursday, February 26 as part of their first full UK tour in over a decade.

Tickets, priced £40, go on sale this Friday, October 24 at 9am

The legendary LA rockers will return to Manchester to perform songs from their brand new album Death Magnetic at a special in-the-round show.

The band’s 12th album in their 27 year career, Death Magnetic stormed to the top of the UK charts earlier this month making it their third UK No.1 album.

Formed in Los Angeles in 1981 by drummer Lars Ulrich, Metallica have released 43 singles, 22 music videos and have had five albums peak at No.1 in the Billboard 200 making them the only band to top the charts five times.

The band’s 1991 self-titled album has sold over 15 million copies in the US making it the 25th highest selling album in the country.
