MUSIC legend Eric Clapton has announced his return to the MEN Arena in Manchester on Thursday. May 14.
Tickets, priced £45 and £55, go on sale 9am Monday (October 27).
After a series of sold-out 2008 shows across North America and Europe, Clapton returns to the MEN Arena for the first time since his critically-acclaimed 2006 concert.
In a career spanning more than 40 years, Clapton has received a staggering 18 Grammy awards and is the only triple inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame - as a solo artist and also as a member of both the Yardbirds and Cream.
Clapton has also contributed to numerous artists’ albums over the decades. His most well known guest slot is on George Harrison’s While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
His guitar playing can also be heard on albums by Aretha Franklin, Steven Stills, Bob Dylan, Elton John, Plastic Ono Band (John Lennon and Yoko Ono), Ringo Starr, Sting and Roger Waters.
