Liverpool’s 2008 Echo Fashion Weekend just days away

NOW its in 14th year, the 2008 Echo Fashion Weekend in Liverpool is set to be the biggest yet.Š

With its new home in the Echo Arena, over 60 exhibitors, catwalk shows, demonstration stage and celebrity hosts, the two day event on October 10-11 is going to be the most spectacular in the region.

This year’s celebrity hosts are Matt Littler and Darren Jefferies, better known as Max and OB from Hollyoaks.Š

Matt admits he enjoys a bit of retail therapy as much as the next bloke but is definitely looking forward to their audience at this year’s Fashion Weekend.

“I think the sheer volume of numbers might be exciting but Liverpool girls are renowned for their fashion sense and their glamour so, to be honest, we can’t wait,” says Matt.

“I came to Liverpool when it was a pretty low ebb and now it’s booming; it’s reinvented itself into a new, vibrant place. I reckon the fashion show will reflect that.”

Alongside the glamorous catwalk shows which feature at 1pm and 7pm daily with stores such as John Lewis and Bank, there will be an action packed demonstration stage with make-overs, beauty tips, dressing for all sizes and how to tone up.
