Simply Red bring greatest hits tour to MEN Arena

ONE of Britain’s best loved soul-pop bands Simply Red return to the MEN Arena in Manchester on Sunday, April 5 to celebrate the release of their new album Simply Red: Greatest Hits 25.

Tickets, priced £40 and £45, go on sale 9am this Friday, October 3.

Led by Denton-born Mick Hucknall, Simply Red have enjoyed a string of memorable hits including Money's Too Tight (To Mention), Holding Back the Years, The Right Thing, If You Don't Know Me By Now, It's Only Love, A New Flame, Something Got Me Started, Stars, Home and Fairground.

Formed in June 1984, the soul-based pop group last performed at the MEN Arena in October 2005.

Released Monday, November 17, Simply Red: Greatest Hits 25 comprises 25 tracks on a double CD and includes a new cover of The Moody Blues classic Go Now, to be released as a single on Monday, November 10.
