Charlatans to play Warrington gig on Monday

MADCHESTER legends, The Charlatans, are stopping off at Warrington to play Parr Hall on Monday, October 6.

The indie band, known for hits such as The Only One I Know, How High and One To Another is playing just a handful of dates in the UK, as part of a promotional tour for their new album You Cross My Path.

The Charlatans played at the following festivals during the summer: the Mighty Boosh Festival in Kent, T In the Park, the V Festival and headlined Ben & Jerrys Sundae on the Common.

The Charlatans formed in 1989 and first tasted chart success with their second single The Only One I Know, which hit the Top 10 the following year. They have since gone on to establish themselves as a major force in the British music scene, enjoying nine Top 10 albums (including three number ones) and 22 Top 40 singles to date.
