Strictly Come Dancing heading for Echo Arena Liverpool

LIVERPOOL will get the chance to watch a host of their favourite celebrities, dance champions and those all important TV judges as Strictly Come Dancing - The Live Tour takes to the road in January 2009.

The live version of the hugely popular TV show, which is coming to the city for the first time, appears at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on Monday, January 19.

Following this year’s massive sell-out UK tour, Strictly Come Dancing - The Live Tour will see stars from the hit TV show past and present gather their gowns and dance shoes, to once again become dance contestants, competing for the votes of the audiences in arenas across the country.Š

The 2009 tour will see the celebrities face their dance demons in the form of all four TV judges - Len Goodman, Arlene Phillips, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli – joining each show to voice their professional opinions of the dancing duos.

Bruno said: “I am so excited to be doing the Strictly Come Dancing - The Live Tour this time, I really missed out last year due to TV commitments in America.

“The tour was a huge success, a complete sell out at all venues across the country. This year, it's going to be even better - skilful routines and beautiful costumes brought together by fantastic live music - it's going to be great.”

Kate Thornton will once again host the tour.ŠThe celebrities will be joined on the 45 dates by world-class professional partners, performing intricate dance moves.
