THIS year’s V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Mobile, sold out in just 90 minutes back in March.
Headlining the main stage are Muse and The Verve, along with co-headliners Kings of Leon, who will be joined by a plethora of diverse acts including Alanis Morissette, Hot Chip, Chemical Brothers and Kaiser Chiefs at Weston Park this weekend.
Festival directors, Bob Angus and Simon Moran said: “We were chuffed to bits to sell out in just 90 minutes. It’s a testament to this year’s great line-up and the long-running support and loyalty from fans of V Festival.”
This year more than 100 of the hottest acts will belt out tunes across five stages. A host of established acts along with more than a smattering of the industry’s hottest hopes for the future will entertain over Saturday and Sunday.
Other favourites include Amy Winehouse, The Prodigy, and The Kooks.
