Stereophonics bring greatest hits tour to Manchester

Stereophonics to play MEN Arena

WELSH rockers Stereophonics return to the MEN Arena on Wednesday, December 10 to celebrate the release of their greatest hits album Decade in the Sun: The Best of Stereophonics.

Tickets, priced £29.50, go on sale this Thursday, August 14 at 9am.

Released this November, Decade in the Sun: The Best of Stereophonics features tracks from all six of the band’s studio albums, beginning with 1997’s debut Word Gets Around through to last year’s Pull The Pin.

Their December show will revisit all the best moments from the band’s decade in the sun, from early classics The Bartender And The Thief, Have A Nice Day and Mr Writer through to It Means Nothing (taken from last year’s No 1 album Pull The Pin) and new tracks You’re My Star and My Own Worst Enemy.

Originally formed in Cwmaman, South Wales in 1996, the band have transcended their Britpop beginnings to become giants of the British rock scene, amassing 11 top five hits, 21 top 20 hits, and nine million worldwide album sales.
