JAY-Z returns to the MEN Arena this Summer to perform tracks from his latest album American Gangster.
The former CEO of Def-Jam and Roc-A-Fella Records, Jay-Z – a.k.a Shawn Corey Carter – is in Manchester tomorrow (Saturday) after his controversial headline gig at Glastonbury.
The seven time Grammy award-winner has been at the heart of US hip-hop since the mid 90s.
His self-financed debut Hard Knock Life was a huge global smash selling over eight million copies worldwide.
Despite retiring following 2003’s The Black Album, Jay-Z returned in 2006 with Kingdom Come and, most recently, released his tenth album American Gangster, inspired by the film of the same name.
