Just when you thought Kylie’s pop career couldn’t get any bigger, she returns with another dazzling tour.
Over the course of an extraordinary 20-year career, the pint-sized pop star has released 10 studio albums, scored 45 hit singles, received countless gold and platinum discs, earned three Grammy nominations, and sold out six world tours.
Earlier this year she co-starred in the Doctor Who Christmas special and was honoured with an OBE for services to music.
Her dignified fight against breast cancer and subsequent work to promote health awareness earned her respect from a new audience.
Kylie returns to the MEN Arena tonight. Her new show is inspired by X, her new album, which has already spawned the top 10 hit 2 Hearts.
Of the album she said: “This album is much more of a celebration than anything I’ve done before, with some room for reflection as well.”
Kylie broke arena box office records last year when tickets for her Showgirl Homecoming Manchester dates sold out in minutes.
She now returns with a new show which she describes as “fresh, exhilarating and innovative”.
