Fashioning Flowers & Foliage: Clothes inspired by gardens: The exhibition brings together an array of clothing that transforms glorious gardens into glamorous gowns - until August 31

The Sound of The Suburbs at Chester History and Heritage St Michael’s Church - The photographic display looks at the development of the main suburbs of Chester - until July 31

Behind Sacred Times: The Life and Time of Chester Cathedral. Taking you on a tour through the building using reconstructions, paintings and photographs -Grosvenor Museum until September 21

Off The Beaten Track: Featuring Chester Carvings: A photographic exhibition by City Guide Tom Hand at Chester History & Heritage St Michael’s Church from August 4 - October 2

Evolution of the female form dress shapes 1840-2000: Grosvenor Museum Costume Gallery between August 9 - February 8

National Archeology Days at The Grosvenor Museum Saturday July 12 and Sunday July 13 between 10.30am - 4pm

Noah’s Ark Masks at Grosvenor Museum on Tuesday July 29 and Wednesday July 30 11am- 12 noon or 2-3pm. Children can make their own masks inspired by the story of Noah

‘Mini-Giant’ Puppets at Chester History and Heritage Centre St Michael’s Church Thursday July 31 1-3pm. Celebrate summertime by making hand puppets based on the giants in the Midsummer Watch parade.

Dancing Chinese Lion: Chester History & Heritage Centre on Thursday August 14 between 1pm-3pm. Be inspired by the 2012 Beijing Olympics by making a Chinese lion to take home
