THE ever popular Dee & Alyn Gilbert & Sullivan Society is staging a rarely performed production opf The Sorceror at Clwyd Theatr Cymru in Mold next week.
Rehearsals for the village band performing at the betrothal of Alexis and Aline as part of the Gilbert & Sullivan show are well under way.
Characters from the postman, to the baker, to the butler all take up their instruments and marching orders to entertain the villagers, the audience and the happy couple in the production which can be seen from June 10-14.
Alexis wants everyone to be as happy as he is, but employing the village sorcerer is a big mistake! Come and find out what happens in an evening of fun and laughter and magical melodies.
The cast is under the direction of Roberta Morrell, who spent 10 years with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company and has directed over 100 operettas and musicals on both sides of the Atlantic.
