Cockney duo Chas & Dave come to Llandudno

THE legendary Cockney duo Chas & Dave will be performing their best known songs at Venue Cymru in Llandudno on Monday, June 16 at 8pm.

They will perform selections from their greatest hits album and DVD, including Rabbit, Ain’t No Pleasing You, Gertcha, Sideboard Song and many more.

Chas & Dave began writing and performing songs together in 1972, having been friends since the early 60s.

Their first record was One Fing and Anuvver. Adding drummer Mick Burt, the group released Strummin’ in 1977 which was a minor hit.

The group reached the top 20 in 1979 with Gertcha, which became a nationwide catchphrase. This was followed by The Sideboard Song.

In 1980 they hit the charts with Rabbit, which reached No 8 in the charts. Their biggest hit came in 1982 with Ain’t No Pleasing You which reached No 2.
