Children’s favourite Angelina Ballerina returns to the stage in 2008 for a UK wide spring tour

Angelina Ballerina, the little star with big dreams once again takes to the stage with English National Ballet in her first live ballet Angelina’s Star Performance appears at Venue Cymru from Friday, May 16 to Sunday, May 18.

The autumn tour in 2007 saw Angelina Ballerina entertain more than 80,000 fans across the UK.

Helen Craig and Katherine Holabird, the creators of the Angelina Ballerina character said: “We attended Angelina’s Star Performance several times, and thought it was absolutely beautiful and wonderfully funny. ”

Angelina’s Star Performance is based upon Angelina at the Palace which follows Angelina as she prepares to stage her own performance of The Sleeping Beauty, at the request of the Queen.

She even has a real life Princess, Princess Valentine, to star alongside her in the show.

It is choreographed by Antony Dowson, with costumes, based on the orginal Angelina Ballerina drawings, by Wizzy Shawyer and set designs from Al Riches.
