A FOUR-time Grammy award winning jazz pianist is coming to perform a concert in Liverpool.
McCoy Tyner and his trio will be taking to the stage at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on May 27.
One of the most influential pianists of the 20th century, McCoy Tyner was at the core of what became one of the most seminal groups in jazz history - the John Coltrane Quartet.
Tyner also played with and influenced most of the great names in jazz since the 60s including Miles Davis.
Tyner went on to create his own music and has released almost 80 albums under his own name including the critically acclaimed Sahara and The Real McCoy.
