Ex-Producers play the blues in Liverpool

TWO former members of popular blues band The Producers will play their own show in Liverpool next week.

Harry Skinner and Dave Saunders will be performing at Fogherty’s Function Room on Thursday, May 15.

Harry was the band’s singer and guitarist and Dave its bass guitarist. In addition to playing in the band, Harry and Dave pursued a separate life as an acoustic blues duo which they have continued to do since the demise of the band.

Harry Skinner has one of the finest blues voices in the country, which is rich in tone but with a roughened edge. He is also a brilliant guitarist.

Dave Saunders plays acoustic guitar and occasionally acoustic bass guitar.

They play a mixture of familiar covers and excellent original material.

Tickets priced £10 can be obtained on 0151 428 2855.
