Lip Service bring 007 spoof to Manchester Library

COMEDY duo Lip Service promise to leave audiences shaken and stirred as they bring Jane Bond to the Library Theatre in Manchester next week.

Sue Ryding and Maggie Fox have come up with a fast-action pastiche of all things 007.

In Jane Bond, super-spy James Bond is transformed into a woman who has to juggle her work/life balance as a supermum with her role as Commander Jane Bond, and fighting her arch-enemy Blowdry and his fluffy white Rabbit Bunny Galore, saving the world in the process.

In true Lip Service style, Jane Bond contains lightning costume changes, cross-dressing, trademark puns and dodgy wigs. Directed by Mark Chatterton, the production is suitable for family audiences.

The show can be seen at the Library from May 8-10. Ring the box office on 0161 236 7110 or visit www.librarytheatre.com.
