THOSE glamorous girls from the Sheilas’ Wheels car insurance ads are performing all their favourite girl group songs with a generous helping of 60s style and kooky comedy.
Cathi, Carly and Emma are all fabulous singers and entertainers in their own rights and have been performing together all over the UK since September 2006. Rave reviews follow them wherever they go, as do their growing number of staunch fans and admirers.
It all started with the girls meeting when they successfully auditioned for the Sheilas’ Wheels ad, became The Sheilas and began gigging non-stop, bagging a record deal with Pete Waterman.
In January, Sheilas’ Wheels began sponsoring ITV’s national weather.
The Sheilas can be seen wearing appropriately pink swim-suits, ski suits, woolly hats and sequined ball gowns hilariously braving every kind of weather imaginable in the famous Sheila Mobile.
This has inspired a unique medley of a surprising combination of weather related songs in a truly quirky finale.
The Sheilas are supported by Wirral-born comedian from Phoenix Nights and TV’s The Slammer, Ted Robbins.
The Sheilas appears at Pacific Road Arts Centre in Birkenhead on Thursday, May 8. For tickets contact the box office on 0151 647 0752 or visit www.pacificroad.co.uk.
