Wirral speech-writing business exhibiting at the Confetti Show at Chester Racecourse

Tracey Craze of Wordbird

WORDS have always come easy to Tracey Craze.

Putting thoughts down on paper and expressing herself well are second nature, so setting up Wordbird, a speech-writing business seemed the most natural thing to do.

Tracey is one of more than 70 exhibitors at the Confetti Show, being held at Chester Racecourse during the weekend of September 5 and 6.

This not-to-be missed event, staged in association with The Chronicle and sponsored by Lambrini, will feature exhibitions on everything the bride-to-be needs to make her wedding day a success.

Through her Wordbird business, Tracey, 45, aims to take the hassle and stress out of speeches for grooms-to-be.

"Giving a speech can be a terrifying experience, but trying to be humorous and entertaining at a special event such as a wedding, can be even worse," said Tracey, who is based in Wirral.

She said: "Your wedding speeches are the wedding day’s entertainment. They need to be personal, unique, sincere, interesting, funny and not offend.

"They can be the most overlooked part of the wedding planning and the biggest worry to those delivering them.

"Wordbird can help you deliver a speech that is all yours and give you the confidence needed for the best performance possible.

"Wordbird has more than 10 years experience in working with people scared witless about performance and writing.

"The service is confidential and others need never know you used a speechwriting service, they will just think how great you were."

Tracey started her business this year, after years of experience in youth work and as a playleader.

She launched her business with help from Blue Orchid and Wirral Biz, government-funded organisations which help people and communities to set up businesses and become sustainable.
