Enjoy a real taste of the county

THE Grosvenor Shopping Centre will be championing the great food of Cheshire with a week-long event featuring local food and drink produce.

Organised as part of this year’s Chester Food & Drink Festival, the centre will be tantalising shoppers taste buds with a series of exhibits, taster sessions and competitions from some of the region’s leading producers.

Taking place from Tuesday, April 14 until Sunday, April 19, highlights include Chester wine specialist, Region Wine, who will be displaying quality wines from all over the world, with mouth-watering taster sessions of their finest white, red and rose wines.

Shoppers with a sweet tooth can also enjoy the creations of hand- made chocolate specialist, Anne Petrovic, who will be exhibiting a selection of chocolates from her Crewe-based business, Konfections. Anne will be inviting shoppers to try an array of hand-made truffles and violet and rose crèmes.

Dessert lovers will also adore the products served up by award-winning company, The Pudding Compartment, who will be displaying their range of delicious steamed puddings and cheesecakes.
