Blues singer Robert Cray set for gig at Liverpool Philharmonic

BLUES singer Robert Cray is set to perform at the Liverpool Philharmonic.
For more than 30 years the American star has laid down track after track of good-time, uptown, low-down blues.
He has picked up five Grammies and been nominated for 11 more.
Cray’s virtuosity has led to collaborations with luminaries such as Eric Clapton, the Rolling Stones, BB King, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Chuck Berry and Bonnie Raitt.
The Philharmonic gig takes place on Friday, July 2, at 7.30pm, with tickets costing £28-50-33.50.
