Neston High School GCSE results

A RECORD breaking year group have provided Neston High School with their best ever GCSE results after a 100% pass rate.

Headteacher, Steven Dool, said: "It is particularly pleasing to note that student performance in the core academic subjects is significantly above the national average, especially in terms of those students achieving five A*-to-C grades which include passes in English and Maths.

"Results like these are only achieved by hard work by students, commitment and dedication by their teachers and support from parents.

"I am delighted to congratulate all concerned on these outstanding results."

High achievers were: Matthew Burton, five A*, four As; Kristie Clinch, seven seven A* and two As; Andrew Cooke, three A* and six As; Joseph Cooper, seven A*, an A and B; Rebecca Davies, six A* and three As; Emma Gray, six A*, two As, B; Mark Greenwood, four A*, three As and two Bs; Rachel Hogg, two A* and seven As; Claire Hutchinson, tree A*, five As and a B; Jack Mayhew, seven A* and two As; Jenny Reeve, three 3A* and six As; Alexandra Rigby, three A*, five As and a B; Kirsty Tunna, four A*, four As and a B.
